Hotel Villa Völgy, a three and a four star building complex, is located in a faboluos environment  in the middle of a beautiful, well-kept, 2 hectare park not more than two kilometres far from the city centre of the town of Eger.

The unique environmental conditions give prominence to the Hotel compared to other inner town hotels, therefore  it specifically provides real recreation for holiday makers who would rather spend their holidays close to nature in quiet surroundings than in noisy and crowded hotels in the city centre.  

We know from experience and feedback questionnaires filled in by our guests during the past few years that people love these fascinating, quiet and peaceful surroundings  where they can forget about and leave behind  their busy weekdays, and can thoroughly enjoy nature  even if it is only a short weekend holiday.

YOUR PERFECT BIRDWATCHING HOTEL
We have placed out  100 nest boxes to provide hatching homes for some bird species living in our park. Having the chance to observe the lives of the birds from very near will  give new experiences to our guests during their holidays.

If you choose our Hotel as the destination of your recreation, your children will be richer with an extra experience. Most children who live in towns have rare opportunities to enjoy nature, although we should start educating them to protect our nature at an early age. Besides feeding birds, children are always happy to observe young birds, moreover, to notice smaller rodents to come into sight fx) squirrels. 

ENJOY BIRD LIFE WHILE HAVING YOUR DINNER
For ages we have some returning occupant in the park, from May in the evenings there is a chance to hear the special vioce of the Eurasian Scops-owl, which is protected bird in Hungary.

In the last few years our hotel has been visited by more and more groups and individuals from the surrounding countries who have been interested in nature and wildlife. Situated on the southern slopes of the Bukk National Park in Eastern Hungary Eger is ideally placed to see Hungary's spectacular bird life.
